• FEO-K1 Universal Fire Service Key

The 2007 edition of the ASME A17.1, "Safety Code for Elevators and Escalators" codified this key, designated "FEO-K1", as the universal standard key for firefighter's emergency operation. The rationale was that a standardized elevator fire service key would reduce emergency response time.

Although the 2012 edition of the NFPA-1 Fire Code conflicts with this standard, it is still extremely common and still required in many jurisdictions that have not adopted the 2012 NFPA-1 requirements.

We proudly offer the FEO-K1 key at a competitive price. As with all our keys, these are factory code cut, never duplicated, and each key is individually tested in a lock, so you know your department can count on them when you need them most.
